First and foremost, I’m a full-time household engineer.  My priorities are God first, then my husband of 13 years, then our home.  We have no children so I have the opportunity and time to enjoy some hobbies.

I love different crafts, but never quite excelled at any one particular hobby. I used to cross stitch, however I never had a passion for it.

Finally about two years ago, I re-discovered the beauty of crochet.  As a little child, I can remember my  parents talking about my nanny’s old factory job where she did sewing. Although, I never learned to sew, I hope to pick that up as well one day.  Back to my nanny…she is the one who first showed me the very basic single crochet.  I recall loving the process of it even as a kid, although it never went further than that!

Just two years ago, I decided to try and pick it up and see if I still enjoyed it! Whoa!  Little did I know what would become of this curiosity!  My sister in law bought me a crochet beginners kit and from that point on…I’ve never stopped crocheting!

I’ve made over 100 items, mostly given as gifts to family and friends.  They seem to all enjoy their items so much and several of them encouraged me to start a small business.

I’m self taught so I’m still learning a lot as I go along, but I’m loving every minute of it!
